Located in the center of Kentucky’s Golden Triangle we are less than a 1 hour drive from Lexington, Louisville, Cincinnati, or Ohio and located just minutes from the Kentucky Speedway. Owen County provides easy access to all the attractions of Central Kentucky as well as Southern Ohio; however, once you make a stop in Owen County you will not want to leave.

Fiscal Court meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 5:00 pm.

ROAD WORK NOTICE

Beginning November 7, 2025, the state highway division will begin a milling and repaving project that will start at the HWY 22 and North Main stop light and continue through Southern States.

During this work, there will be NO PARKING allowed on either side of the roadway Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Whenever possible, motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes around Roland Avenue.
